That looks like Marshall Point Lighthouse in Maine. We were just there in July. I took lots of pictures under a deep blue sky and fluffly clouds. It was a beautiful place, and photography heaven!

Just wow.

Well done Fran, yes it is Marshall Point and yes, Tom Hanks was there. :)

Lovely shot!

sigh, that’s beautiful!!

Astounding, really.

Now, to make it a photograph: pick the best single frame, and print it large!

Jaw dropping and breath taking. I can’t stop looking at it!

Simply beautiful.

oh my what a shot, incredible.

Great Shot – looks like it was taken on top of a mountain or something, as you are almost above the clouds.

I’m only above the clouds in my mind. lol :) This was from ground level, a retreating storm and a rising moon

ok for reals? That is incredible. Wowza

Pretty cool. We use PhotoOne here at the studio, and it shows sunrise and sunset times too. Always nice to have a backup for on the road though.

Great tip! Time of sunset is one of the first things I check when I talk to a new potential client so I can discuss portrait timing and explain “the golden hour.”

Great site. Much better than the one I’ve been using. Thanks for sharing!!

great tip!
