Get Down Low – Photo Composition

Get Down Low – Photo Composition  Photo Tip Tuesday - Get Down Low – Change your perspective and improve your photography. Have you ever wondered why so many photos look ordinary? It all starts with how we see. When I say we, how we as people usually see things. Think about it, we either see things…

This is one of the main reasons I chose the Canon G11 when was looking for a compact to supplement my DSLR gear.
The articulating screen allows (and encourages) me to experiment with different angles. Well worth the effort.

It’s so easy to fire off the shot and not think about a different angle. Some of my favorite photos of my kids on the beach were taken with a G11 about an inch of the ground pointing up at them using a wide angle. They look like little giants with the strange perspective.

I love getting down and finding different angles….the only problem that most women have is that when we are bending down we have to worry about our pants and making sure everything is still covered :) Granted I don’t wear extremely low rise pants, but I still have to be careful…not really what I want to show people :)

Hope you all got a little chuckle out of that :)

Pradeep, indeed is one of the finest photographers I’ve seen in India. He has a special talent to find unusual frames from the most mundane street life, and you would wonder, ‘wow why didn’t I see that’. His sense of timing makes his wildlife photographs so animated in still life. I specially, love the little tale or a story that emerges from his street life portraits. May the goddess of all Art forms always bless him.

Kudos
