This is a functionally Sweet Shot I want to share with you guys. We recently had a pool party for the Boy Scouts. Well, we, and the Boy Scouts, take water safety very seriously. One of the requirements is that everyone have a buddy tag that serves two purposes. It lets everyone know what the scouts swimmer level is; non, beginner, or swimmer, based on the red and blue color codes. The next most important thing is it shows who the scout is buddied with at all times. A solo hanging pin indicates the scout is either not present or currently out of the pool. 

Before, we used these paper disk key tag thingies and after a few uses they got all soggy and shriveled up. Plus, the tags required a hook to be hung on. One of the scout moms figured out this awesome system of using cloths pins. The pins all hang on a string single file. As the boys enter the pool, pins get paired up and clipped to each others buddy. Simple, durable, and cheap. 

If there any scout parents out there, this is a great idea. Consider how you might be able to use something similar to simplify your life.

It’s time for you to add your current favorite image to the collection. This isn’t about having the best shot in the world, or creating the perfect exposure. This is only about you improving your skills one image at a time, and most importantly, staying active with photography.
