Introducing a new infrared black and white panoramic photograph – “Live Oak Cows”


Most of my favorite infrared panoramic black and white images start this way:
This image is no exception. The only exception here was fence jumping. Come on, I was only capturing the moment. No animals were injured in the making of this image.
Seriously, this image was created with a series of hand held vertical shots from left to right. The shots were stitched together in Photoshop CS4. I used to do these manually for days at a time. Once stitched, I adjust contrast, dodge and burn, sharpen and that’s it. This image is huge, over 115mb. And can be printed nearly 7 feet wide. Online, the top image is very difficult to see in detail, so I included this detail section below.
