Easily Import and Install Lightroom Presets by following the steps below.

Lightroom Presets are the best way to not only quickly edit and finalize your photographs, they are a great way to explore creative options. Using Lightroom Presets and Graduated Filters and Brush Tools is simple and straight forward.

Once you’ve selected your Lightroom Presets and Tools you only need to download, open and import them and you’re all set and ready to begin creating using Custom Lightroom Presets and Tools.

Follow the written instructions below and be sure to view the helpful tutorial videos that walk you through each step.

On Macintosh Computer:

  1. Download and uncompress the purchased presets folder
  2. In Lightroom, go to top left corner select Lightroom, then Preferences.
  3. In new dialog box that appears, be sure “Store presets with this catalog” is NOT checked
  4. Click on “Show Lightroom Presets Folder” button
  5. Navigate and move the newly purchased presets folder(s) to the Lightroom > Develop Presets folder
  6. Place Graduated and Brush Filter Tools in the Lightroom > Local Adjustments Presets folder
  7. Once the new presets folder is in the Develop Presets folder Quit and Restart Lightroom
  8. The new Graduated and Brush Filter Tools will be on the right Develop column in the pull-down list
  9. Your new presets will appear in the left column when in Develop Mode

 

On Windows Computer:

  1. Download and uncompress the purchased presets folder
  2. Click Edit at the top, next to File
  3. Go down and click Preferences
  4. In new screen that pulls up select Presets
  5. In new dialog box that appears, be sure “Store presets with this catalog” is NOT checked
  6. Click on “Show Lightroom Presets Folder” button
  7. Navigate and move the newly purchased presets folder(s) to the Lightroom > Develop Presets folder
  8. Place Graduated and Brush Filter Tools in the Lightroom > Local Adjustments Presets folder
  9. Once the new presets folder is in the Develop Presets folder Quit and Restart Lightroom
  10. The new Graduated and Brush Filter Tools will be on the right Develop column in the pull-down list
  11. Your new presets will appear in the left column when in Develop Mode
