Golden (“Johnny L”) Ticket Holder

OK, today at PSW was another long education filled day. It was all started with an exciting demo from Joe McNally. Joe’s a great seasoned photog with a gritty, witty New York sense of humor. Scott Kelby offered up some great type in PS tips as well. The real surprise came when my nephew, George Drage, pulled the “Golden Ticket” from RC after his photo blog class.

Here’s how it worked. When all the Photoshop Guys got into there KISS (I mean NAPP) costumes to do all the promo stuff for the 2010 Photoshop World, they did a still shoot as well. They made lenticular trading cards of each of the members. During PSW classes for the last two days certain instructors have been passing out the cards. If you collect all 5 different cards and you’re one of the first five to turn them into the Adobe booth, you win a FREE copy of the soon to be released Photoshop CS5.

Well George, whom I’ve been mentoring in photography, got the illusive “Johnny L” card and will be receiving CS5 once it comes out. Here he is posing with the amazing, wild and crazy Photoshop Guru, Russell Brown. No more excuses George…time to learn Photoshop!!! Congrats!!
