Jesse Estes is this week’s Featured Photographer.

Jesse’s life in the Pacific Northwest is the focus of his photography. His rich detailed landscapes seem to have a dream-like quality to them. Reinforced by his bio, Jesse’s connection with the land (and sea) are strikingly self-evident in his work.

Someday, I’ll be that good… Beautiful work, and thanks for introducing us to this talented photographer!
Like the sunset stuff, also it’s kind of weird, but I like a lot of the plain tree ones too.
Hi Kent, I am visiting via Sweet Shot Tuesday and your gracious comment on my blog… Wow, do I not feel worthy! I am looking forward to catching your photo Friday tips; I have had my camera about one year but am really just trying to learn how to use it; I don’t like to read manuals:) My method is shoot everything about 20 times and I might have one that I like.
Jesse’s work is stunning… it captures beyond words how beautiful Oregon is. Thanks for sharing.
If you want to boost your learning curve with your camera sign up for my new class Night Photography > http://kentweakley.com/blog/eclass-night-photography-kent-weakley/ This is an exciting eClass all online, hands-on, how-to’s with videos and step-by-step instructions. No manuals (except when we need to locate specific functions, etc. for your camera). We will do assignments “together” and share (if you’d like) images on the sight for all to see. Check it out, we’d love to have you along!
