We go across the pond to view the work of Kevin Mullins, this week’s Featured Photographer.

Kevin is a professional wedding photographer based in Wiltshire, UK. He has an enthusiasm for capturing the moment and people photography, and it is this enthusiasm that has allowed him to pursue his own personal contemporary documentary wedding style, which is very much in demand. Although based in Malmesbury, Kevin shoots weddings right across the United Kingdom, and destination weddings abroad.
Taking his inspiration from classic contemporaries such as Jeff Ascough, Mike Colon and Joe Buissink, Kevin loves to photograph weddings in a truly photo journalistic style. There is no posing or directing as he believes all the images should be a true representation of the events of the wedding – he tells the story of the wedding day through the power of the still image.
Kevin lives in Cotswolds with his beautiful wife Gemma and 2 year old daughter, Rosa. Outside of photography he is a keen rugby supporter and, at the age of 36 has recently retired from playing for the London Welsh Rugby Club. In November 2009, he was accepted into the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. Be sure to vist Kevin’s website and follow him on Twitter.
